Disney

My Dudes:    I absolutely love Disney, like it's my favorite movie, song, costume, decoration category. I literally get more hyped to Disney music than pop music, maybe except for T-Swift, I love her. I honestly listen to Disney pre-game and midworkout. I literally sing the songs while I'm playing to hype myself. If you ask what movie I wanna watch I can pretty much tell you it's gonna be a Disney movie. They're just so pure and they're full of my kind of humor. I don't like cussing and dirty jokes so Disney is 100% me. I hope you love Disney as much as me and if you don't know because you haven't seen it, do us all a favor and leave.

Chocolate Milk

Hey "Moos":    Yeah I know that was not a very good joke but I mean I love puns so whatever. So I love chocolate milk, like it might be the best beverage in the history of ever. I'm not really sure why I love it so much but I think it might be that I can only drink it after workouts as a recovery drink. Oh and for those of you who don't know, chocolate milk is a recovery drink for like after runs and stuff so stop buying gatorade (which I also love). Comment your favorite drink and I'll try it and get back to you if I love it more than my chocolate milk.

Sunburns

Hey Dudes:     So my parents go to the pool like all the time and yesterday, I decided to go with them. One thing you should know about me is that I fear the sun, mostly because of sunburns and cancer and all that, so I always use a ton of sunscreen and reapply. However, I never put on my own sunscreen I always have my mom or a friend do it. But yesterday I tried to do it myself and what do you know, I got a sunburn. Now I gotta say, these things are the worst, like they hurt and I just wanna peel my own skin off. The good thing is that sunburns usually turn into tans, and if you go back to being pale then I'm very sorry friend, you just went through all the pain and got no benefits. Advice I have for sunburns is to use desitin overnight, because it takes away the pain but leaves a tan. The number one thing to do however, is just wear sunscreen in the first place.

Catch Me if You Can

Hello My Dudes:     So I totally 100% believe that every person has a catch phrase. I know that it might not be something famously cool like Joey from Friends "how you doin'" but I firmly believe that you have something that you find yourself saying at least daily. I know that I say "it's happening" like at least once an hour, and I say "dukey", as in "that's dukey" or "what the dukey", in almost every sentence. Think back on what you say and you might find that you have a catch phrase.

the Birds and the Bees....."Needs"

Hey Dudes:    So I really felt like God was calling me to talk on the subject of.... sexual immorality (cringe I know). I don't really understand why it's such an awkward topic since nudity and sex are literally everywhere. I mean these days, it's in like every movie or show and even comes up on my social media feed all the time (I have to mute accounts on Twitter all the time to get rid of it). This is something I've struggled with lately, because in today's society, we are really pressured about this topic. I mean for guys it's "cool" and the thing to do and girls are judged no matter what, they're either sleeping around or being a prude. I'm here to tell you it's okay to make the decision for yourself. Myself, I decided that I believe God is calling me to wait for marriage, and I can back it up with verses like: "The acts of flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery" Galatians 5: 19, or Hebrews 13:4; "...

Running Advice from a Nonrunner

Dudes:    If you're like me then running is like the worst thing ever, but I still try to do it. Whether its for sport, like me, or for fun, running is a great way to get some exercise and release some endorphins. I mean my favorite is when I pass runners on my run and they say "good morning" because they're like the happiest people ever. My advice for running is run for you, run what you can run and if you gotta walk then do it. Run for you, and be proud of yourself for even trying. I also think you should work up to your goal, I mean you're not gonna be able to run a marathon on day one. Lastly, find yourself some jams to listen to while you're running, I promise that makes it better, or as good as running can be.

Marked

What is up my dudes:       Marked by T.L. McDonald was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's my favorite book ever but it was a good read. Before you read farther, there will be spoilers. My first opinion on this book is regarding Hanna's love interests: she definitely should end up with Will, I just prefer him to Jared. I know that they're best friends but I think they should remain just that. This book was a little predictable, but it wasn't totally unsurprising. I guess about 1/3 of the way through the book that Jared was Sam's brother, but it did surprise me that Zoe was the traitor. My prediction for the next books is that Jared is gonna go a little evil, since he "walks the line of the apocalypse" or whatever and Hanna will have to team up with Will to bring the real Jared back. I can't wait to start reading the next two books!

Maybe Someday

Dudes:    10/10 would recommend Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. It's a great read and has all the feels. If you're like me, you might have to skip a few scenes at the end because it does get a little intense, but overall the book is absolutely fabulous.    BONUS: after you read the book and decide it's as awesome as I said, Griffin Peterson has an album with songs written in the story!

Loss or Gain?

hey dudes:     Sometimes, to lose is to gain. For example I had a friend that was a little high maintenance and everything always had to be about her. I would spend every free moment hanging out with her, but once I took a step back, I realized that having such a dependent relationship was toxic for me. Everything started to be negative and I wasn't very happy, and my other friendships and relationship with God were suffering. Even though it hurt and I didn't want to, I began to spend less time with that friend, and because of that I was able to make great friends through God. With John 15 as inspiration, I was pruning my friendships for a more healthy relationship with God. Most of the time loss brings you some kind of pain, but you have to be able to understand that the pain helps you grow. I mean take it from Kelly Clarkson, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. When you rely on God through your loss, you are really able to grow in your relationship with him. Psalm ...

Foundation

hey dudes:         When you build a house, the most important thing is deciding where you're going to start. I mean you always hear "location location location!" but I think that it's more important that you make sure you're building on solid ground. The same can be said for your relationships, whether that's a boyfriend or girlfriend, a just friend, a family member, and most importantly, your relationship with God. Matthew 7: 24-25 says "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock" It is important that you set yourself up for success by building yourself a solid foundation in your relationship with God. Things like reading scripture and applying it, praying and worshiping are all examples of things you can do to make your r...
